Consider This?

Should students be allowed to use cellular phones for instructional purposes, during instructional time? Cell phones are subject of much controversy in education. Secondary principals spend many valuable hours every year managing and enforcing the cell phone policies of their school. Students often abuse their constant connectivity and create legal and managerial nightmares with their phones. However, cell phones do offer an advantage in engagement and feedback and have many uses that could be effective in a school. Let's be honest; students are using them behind our backs anyway. So is there a middle ground? Can cell phones and instruction coexist? What do you think?
